The once named Andalu Nightclub has been transformed, revamped and renamed SPOT Lounge. This trendy spot is now THE SPOT for DC’s hippest crowd. Owner Osmar Nunez-Vilches has managed to transformed this venue into something unseen in DC with its art deco bar, designer walls illuminated in blue light and state of the art bathrooms. Designer Deborah Kalkstein of Contemporania has opened up this space and made this venue a unique fashion statement from the custom made seating to the art pieces that adorn the bathroom walls. No detail has been left out. SPOT is now open 6 days a week from Tuesday-Sunday, including a Wednesday Happy Hour from 5pm-10pm. Indicative of Mr. Nunez’s love of music is his decision to bring in some of the best guest DJ’s from here to L.A. to host what will soon prove to be the hottest parties of the DC area. Mr. Nunez-Vilches has not just opened another spot in DC, he has opened THE SPOT and has picked the Promoters who will bring in the clientele and make this, once Hip Hop nightclub, into the Spot to go to see and be seen!
